About The WCN
Chambers of commerce - with a history of well over 400 years and represented in most countries - are trusted contact points and third parties in regional, national and international trade, as well as partners for regional economic development initiatives. Chambers represent the largest organized business group in the world with more than 12,500 chamber offices worldwide, which have well over 40 million business members.
The World Chambers Network (WCN) was established in 1997 as the official chamber portal dedicated to digital / online backbone functionality for the global network.
WCN's unique platform is a vital business tool which offers business and market information via chambers (local to global), local business contacts, product and services promotion, business verification and trust services.
WCN offers services to both businesses (in the WCN Business Lounge) and to chambers of commerce management (in the WCN Chamber Lounge).
In addition, corporate clients and public sector agencies can also draw on a combination of services from these two segments to reach their goals, for example for the introduction of a new business service or product, trade promotion and diversification, and implementation assistance for regional economic development initiatives.
WCN helps foster open and comprehensive exchange of business information on companies, products, services, markets and resources.
WCN establishes an electronic commerce network that links chambers of commerce, public sectors, companies and their customers from around the world.
WCN enables each participating chamber of commerce to serve as a unique content provider and become an electronic commerce facilitator for its local companies
WCN is managed by ChamberTrust Management International Inc (CTMI) and its senior team.
