Beth R. says:

Looking at teh comments, clearly social networking sites are being recruited for more than just true discussions and networking... just another venue for spamsters. With 100 billion spam emails a day these days, we got something to look forward to!
Carl M. says:

There are blogs and then there are blogs ! Huge number of OTC stock plays employe their own ""independent"" bloggers who drive towards ever more linkups.

Francine G. says

The problem may be the sheer onslaught of 'commercialized' blog responses as another form of auto- marketing a website or product.  Once $$s are involved...the invitations roll to increase traffic

Stephen S. says:

Not all social networking sites are about business managers wanting to extend their business network. The issue with Facebook, Myspace and Bebo is the fact that they are habited by a mainly young audience, they are a difficult and cynical bunch of people for organisations to market too. The advantage of this is that it helps in the education of the slightly older demographic who wants to feel included. http://www.itsourlocal.com recognises that some of our favourite offline past times can be monetised in the online space. Social networking online is no different than social networking offline……w go where it is relevant to go!

Charles S. says:

Hey haven’t you heard of Virtudex.com? Its the best Business Social Network.
