ATA Carnet
The ATA Carnet is a $15 billion/yr international customs document
program to help company representatives traveling abroad with
samples & goods for their customers. It permits duty-free and tax-free temporary import of goods for up to one year.
The initials "ATA" are an acronym of the French and English words "Admission
Temporaire/Temporary Admission." ATA Carnets cover: commercial samples; professional equipment; goods for presentation or use at trade fairs, shows, exhibitions and the like.

Certificates of Origin
A Certificate of Origin (CO) supports your export
shipments. Certificates of Origin may be needed to comply with Letters of Credit, foreign Customs requirements or a buyer's request.
COs attest that goods in a particular export shipment are wholly obtained or produced or manufactured or processed in a particular country (country of origin). Virtually every country in the world considers the origin of imported goods when determining what duty will be assessed on the goods or, in some cases, whether the goods may be legally imported at all.
