The
Chairman, Procurement Committee of the State Pharmaceuticals
Corporation of Sri Lanka will receive sealed tenders for
supply of items on the above tenders.
Tenders should be prepared as per particulars given in the
Tender Documents available to prospective tenders on working
days between 0930 hours to 1500 hours from the issuing dates
at the Head Office, no.75, Sir Baron Jayatillake Mawatha,
Colombo 1 and can inspect it and purchase on cash payment of a
non-refundable Tender fee as shown above per set and a copy of
the receipt obtained to be annexed to the offer.
All tenders should be accompanied by a Bid Bond as specified
in the Tender Documents.
Sealed Tenders may be sent by post under registered cover or
may be personally deposited in the box available for this
purpose at Room GF 10 in the ground floor of the State
Pharmaceuticals Corporation (Head Office) at No. 75, Sir Baron
Jayatillake Mawatha, Colombo 1, Sri Lanka.
Tenders will be closed at the office of the State
Pharmaceuticals Corporation on the above dates and time will
be opened immediately thereafter. Tenders or their authorised
representatives will be permitted to be present at the time of
opening of tenders.
Tender Documents are being sent to Sri Lanka missions abroad
and foreign missions in Sri Lanka.
Special Conditions for tendering:
1) Offers should be accompanied with the valid registration
certificate issued by the Cosmetic Devices and Drugs Authority
in Sri Lanka
2) If the shipment is being effected on FCL basis both FOB and
Freight charges should be quoted separately against each item
in addition to quoted C & F price.
3) Offered item should bear both our SR number and the Item
number.
4) However at the tender opening only the item numbers will be
read out. Therefore price quoted should be shown against each
item number. Separate offers should be forwarded against each
part.
5) Relevant H.S. Code Number (BTN Number) should be quoted
against each item.
6) Offers should be on C & F (CPT/CFR) Colombo basis. FOB
offers are not acceptable. Total value of each item not
exceeding LKR 1 Million for Import and Supply basis is
acceptable. Offers exceeds this amount should be on C & F
basis. This is not applicable for local manufacturers.
7) Fax/E-mail offers directly sent to State Pharmaceuticals
Corporation are not acceptable. Tenderers are requested to
draw their attention to the clause "Submission of
Tenders" of the tender document in this regard.
8) If awarded supplier is unable to adhere the delivery
schedule due to no fault of the SPC/Ministry would result in
the supplier being surcharge 0.5% of total bid amount per day
from the due delivery date.
9) We reserve the right to reject offers which do not comply
above.
General Conditions apply in the event of an award: 1) To be
supplied from freshly manufactured stock.
2) Expiry date and storage conditions should be mentioned
clearly in indent, invoices and specially in the package of
each items.
3) Residual shelf life of each items should be minimum of 24
months.
4) All individual packs, inner and outer boxes/cartons should
be labeled including following details in English
a) Description of item
b) Date of manufacture, Date of expiry and Batch Number
c) Name and address of Manufacturer
d) SR Number of Item, MSD Order List Number and SPC indent
number e) State Mark of Sri Lanka Government.
5) Items should be suitably packed;
a) to be stored under normal room temperature and humidity
prevailing in Sri Lanka
b) to be stored under 2°C - 8°C.
6) Pack size : Offers for any other economically viable pack
size is acceptable with the prior approval of D/MSD.
7) MSD Order List No. , SR No of item and SPC Indent no.
should be indicated in all supplies invoices and packing
lists. |

before making the tender application. The successful tenderer

Listed items on this category are offered for sale on the
following conditions. Therefore bidders must carefully read
them. These items must be examined properly before making

Tender lists, General conditions and further details could be
obtained from the office of the Deputy Director of Customs,
Central Sales Unit of the Sri Lanka Customs situated at the

01,on payment of Rs. 25/= from 24th March, 2008.
Bids for each item should be submitted in original tender
forms. These forms could be obtained on payment of a
non-refundable deposit of Rs. 300/-.
Tender forms could be obtained between 10.30 a.m. and 3.30 pm

F. ( i ) The price quoted must be written clearly in words and
figures ( ii ) Any alterations and amendments should be
authenticated by the tenderer as otherwise the offer is liable
to be rejected. The successful tenderer has to pay value added
Tax and PAL as shown in the Tender Sale List additionally with
the price on which the Bid was awarded.
G. The successful tenderer is required to make payment in full
and take delivery of goods within 10 working days from the
date of awarding tender. Failure to do so will result in the
award of each item being invalidated and the refundable
deposit being forfeited.
H. The Director General of Customs reserves the right to
withdraw any item put up for sale at any time. The decision of
the Tender Board shall be final on any matter related to the
Tender Sale. |
