Since 1997, over 12,000 CCIs worldwide have registered
in the officially sanctioned online ChamberDirectory, making it
the major global backbone of the worlds business
organization systems...database
entry is free to Chambers of Commerce and Industry upon approval by the ICC-World
Chambers.
This is the directory to utilize for small, medium and large
enterprises and other chambers to find your chamber, and also information about your
locale and business community.
The process to add your CCI is easy...simply follow the
links to the Chamber-Directory and apply. The ICC-World
Chambers Federation will then verify your application
with the help of its national chamber members. For updates regarding already existing CCI members,
simply follow the links to log in with your username and
password.
Systems upgrades were performed recently, and
many new features were added to maximize the power of the
ChamberDirectory for a CCI office anywhere in the
world. While the Chamber-Directory has been designed to
work with your local CCI site assets and investments by
directing visitor traffic to them, the now updated
version of the Chamber-Directory can act as a 'no cost'

markets simultaneously with the official chamber business

:: local CCI is the conduit or 'on-ramp' for the local
business to the global ChamberTrust registry
:: local CCI continues to participate throughout the life

:: ChamberTrust Seal Registry output can be customized

The ChamberTrust™ seal is an international
validation system with an embedded powerful
and complete business marketing
and export promotion solution...Branded global commerce with Trust for local businesses
validated through the CCI.When it gets to verification, only
the chamber of commerce network has a truly global network of physical
offices and local membership information to verify and promote a
local business in the borderless, virtual world.
ChamberTrust applies common global standards across all
countries to level the playing field and assist with expanding
trade. ChamberTrust standards are compliant with the
rules/regulations of WTO.
With ChamberTrust, chambers of commerce verify the objective
information about a given company (existence, ownership of
website, products, primary and secondary activities…), not
subjective company 'performance' measures. ChamberTrust assists
with the anonymity, confidence, trust and branding challenges a
local business faces on the global internet
But ChamberTrust is much more than a trust seal. It is also a
vital marketing and display tool for a local business in
association with its local CCI... ChamberTrust is co-located at
the WCN hub with the high-traffic, official global chamber of
commerce directory. ChamberTrust also includes generous business
description space in the searchable
central global registry, the
opportunity for the company to upload its
.pdf product catalogue or business brochure, and, if applicable,
direct links to the online store
of the business.

Complex multilingual support in the business and marketing
support descriptions helps the ChamberTrust member business to
address local, regional and global
potential partners simultaneously (at significant savings). By
being short listed through the ChamberTrust verification process
and displayed under the trusted chamber brand (with full
business and product detail and links) in the searchable global
registry helps a ChamberTrust business member to lower costs and
increase sales at home and new markets abroad....all at very
affordable pricing. Help your business stand
out from the crowd and benefit of the worldwide WCN
network, exposure, and Chamber verification...
Other CCI options allow for special 'clustering' of local or
regional ChamberTrust members in a searchable database link. ...and for secure negotiation venues and
intellectual property tools when ChamberTrust brings you new
business contacts, try another secure
chamber zone© service ::Chamber
e-Vault. Chamber
e-Vault offers high security and notarized file uploads,
contract room options for negotiation partners, built-in MD5
Hash mark intellectual property authentication, and
high-security document sharing at no charge around the
world...all in a very easy-to-use and cost-effective online
application.
Taken together, ChamberTrust and Chamber e-Vault form the
backbone of secure chamber zone© online
application services via the world's oldest, largest and most
trusted business network. Apart form being a revenue sharing core affinity
service for the 21st century, ChamberTrust is a very powerful tool for the
local member business to compete in the
international market place
How ChamberTrust is applied by Chambers
Step 1
The local CCI joins the ChamberTrust program either through
a regional or national chamber master agreement (as is the case
in many nations already), or where applicable,
directly via the World Chambers by requesting, reviewing and submitting the
ChamberTrust CCI protocol ( .::contact
us for this document).
Step 2
Language- and or country specific ChamberTrust business
online registration forms are made available to the CCI by the
World Chambers. The forms include end-user pricing the CCI has chosen,
and also potential notations regarding additional instructions for the member
business in the national areas (i.e. regarding additional requirements
for faxing specific documents in certain jurisdictions).
With the new ChamberTrust affinity program,
participating local
chamber set the pricing structure themselves (subject to
minimum amounts set for systems and maintenance, legal,
royalties, etc).
Step 3
The specific online form is then publicized by the local
CCI to its members (i.e. via its home page, mail-outs or announcements
in local luncheon meetings). An online brochure can also be
downloaded .:
here .
Apart from specific roll-out announcements in local
newsletters, on the home pages etc., CCIs can add ChamberTrust
as a gold-star option to the annual membership renewal package
for their business members. This helps to lower chamber
marketing costs.
Alternatively, some CCIs have chosen the bulk method
whereby it adds all its members on a trial basis (at reduced
cost) for up to one year and then offer a gold-star
chamber membership option which includes ChamberTrust
fees in subsequent years.

Fairs and Exhibitions
Service

The WCN global Fairs and Exhibitions ASP
service is for major fairs and exhibitions. It can be
used as a tool by chambers to support their regional business
visitor market. Close to 2000 major events are currently
listed in the service.
In addition, using the same 'no-hassle' server-based technology,
CCIs in a given region can combine (or go through their
regional or national CCI partners) to ask the World
Chambers to host a regional version of Fairs and
Exhibitions at a nominal charge, with individual
accounts for the CCIs to advertise their luncheons,
speakers and smaller/regional fair events (events for a national
or international audience should be entered into the
global Fairs and Exhibitions ASP at World Chambers).

Special
Clusters / Regional Economic Development

Special clusters and agglomerations can be established
by geography, industry characteristics or a combination
thereof. Cluster technology can be applied to the CCI
directory, ChamberTrust, GBX, Fairs and Exhibitions, and
hosted CCI management software services such as
ChamberPortal and ChamberGateway,
The key issue is the ability for chambers to become the
lead partner in economic development initiatives
in their region, such as private-public sector
partnerships. Via World Chambers cluster services, the
client group led by a local, regional, national or
transnational chamber gets unparalleled abilities to
flange a special market zone and its business members to
the online global backbone structure of the world
business organization.

ChamberSurvey Service for CCIs
The World Chambers has
developed an inexpensive system for local, regional and
national chambers to use an online survey tool to survey
their members on a variety of subjects, such as a local
chamber benefit programs, business confidence in the
local area, elections etc. The service does not
refer to advertise such a survey at the World Chambers
site, but to provide a low cost option for CCIs to
access the no-hassle server based service.
Using server-based technologies, the survey is hosted by
our central system but forwards results directly to the
client chamber via e-mail. Survey pages can also be
password-protected regarding controlled access,
depending on the application. Extra-cost options also
exist for a step-up version where results are evaluated
by a special database program.
WCN ChamberSurvey costs vary with application, but a
basic online survey with five questions (including
hosting for three months) starts at US $ 450 for a bona
fide chamber of commerce or board of trade.
Larger scale and more complex surveys for corporate
partners of a chamber of commerce are also possible
(including hosting for six months)
Please .::contact
us for more information on ChamberSurvey for your
CCI.
